Before establishing Reckon LLP in May 2004 I was a minion in other economics advisory firms.
- In 1997 I worked for a few months at the London office of (what is now) NERA Economic Consulting.
- Between October 1998 and May 2004 I was employed by Europe Economics (not an altogether happy experience).
Before that, I was a theoretical physicist specialising in statistical mechanics, with a D. Phil. from the University of Oxford on "Boundaries and interfaces in planar Ising models".
